Interview with Stefania Toro
Biography
After graduating in architecture, she specialised in lighting design, working in Paris, France, at Louis Clair’s “Light Cibles” studio.
In Italy, she collaborated with Archiluce Lighting Design.
Since 2006, she has been part of San Lorenzo 21, an architecture and lighting design studio selected in 2015 for the first TEDX conference in Genoa.
In 2014, she was one of the founders of Condiviso, a company specialising in communication and lighting design, of which she is now also President.
Since 2016, she has been a member of the board of directors of ADI Liguria, where she is currently vice-president.
She has taught lighting design on the “Projection Mapping Designer” course funded by the European Social Fund – Liguria Region.
Since 2019, she has been a member of WIL, Women in Lighting, a group of female designers in the field of lighting.
She specialises in the use of light to develop cultural strategies that express and affirm the identity and visibility of organisations, institutions, associations and companies, as well as projects of value to the local area.
